Steve
returns to MVC after a brief retirement to once again lead our boys’ basketball
program. Steve Miles had a long record of success as head coach at Monte Vista
Christian. From 2000 to 2003, the boys’
varsity basketball team was recognized for many accomplishments, including two
League Championship titles, three Central Coast Section Div. IV Championships,
and twice Northern California Runner-up.
Steve has also been honored as Coach of the Year.
The MVC school community looks
forward to an outstanding basketball season with Steve at the helm, more
importantly, the lives touched by his professional standard of conduct, his
respect for the players and the sport, and his inspiration as a role
model. Steve’s mentorship on-and-off
the court plays an important factor in his success as a leader.
