Out of 1.5 million students who took the National
Merit test in 2012, Michelle Dai and Sara Lagan have received recognition for
being in the top 50,000. That means they scored higher than 1,450,000
people!
They are now eligible for the next step this fall, when National
Merit Semifinalists and Commended students will be announced.
