Monte Vista Christian School Blood Drive on January 25

Students, parents, and staff members are invited to participate in our next Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 25, from 11am-4pm in the Middle School gym.

The age minimum for MVCS student donors is 17 years old. The American Red Cross has special height and weight requirements for all high school students: boys who are shorter than 5’ and girls who are shorter than 5’6” must weigh more than 110 pounds, depending on their height. Students are not weighed and measured, but are asked to confidentially give their height and weight.

Each donation can help save a life!

Kameron Struer, an 8th grader, was interviewed on KION TV on January 4 about the educational children's book he's published, "Simon the Snowball," and how he's donating part of each sale to the Monterey County SPCA.
