"Festival of Carols" at Monte Vista Christian School

Celebrate Christmas at the annual "Festival of Carols" on Friday, December 9, at 7:30pm. The Performing Arts Parents Association volunteers will transform the high school gym into a wondrous place to celebrate the holidays--you'll be amazed.

Tickets to the concert are $10 (MVCS staff/students $5).

At 5:00pm, right before the concert, PAPA is holding a Silent Auction to benefit the Performing Arts Department. Come early to bid on the great items donated by parents and local companies, including vacations, gift certificates, and beautiful baskets filled with goodies.

Operation Christmas Child by Nov 18

You can bless a child between the ages of 2-14, just by filling a shoebox with toys and supplies, as part of the Operation Christmas Child ministry of Samaritan's Purse.

Enjoy the sweet sounds of the MVCS Middle School Girls Choir at their Fall Concert on Tuesday, October 25, from 7 to 7:45pm in the MSPAR. Cider and cookies will be served after the concert.

"Sing for Your Life" concert in Santa Cruz on Nov 6

Churches are invited to host a Monte Vista Christian School Art Show

Churches--Would you like to host an MVCS high school student artwork exhibit, sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas? We'll set up the show, and provide faculty supervision. Encourage your local student artists, while enjoying some high-quality artwork.

Minimum Day Bell Schedule for Sept. 2

This is the Minimum Day schedule for Friday, September 2, 2011

Second 8:10-9:20 70 minutes

Break 9:20-9:30 10 minutes

Fourth 9:35-10:45 70 minutes

Sixth 10:50-12:00 70 minutes

School will be dismissed at 12:00, and bus loading will begin immediately. Buses will leave campus at 12:15, so you can expect your student’s bus to arrive about 2 hours before the usual Friday schedule.
